Thank you to Ryan and Ian Knight from Viewco Glass who have agreed to sponsor a NTP for the second shot to the ninth hole on both Wednesday and Saturday competitions throughout 2010. The prize will be 2 golf balls.

Saturday News

On Saturday 6th February 2010 the Monthly Medal winners were:

A Grade: G Hart 64 net
B Grade: J Thomson 63 net
C Grade: M Stevens 64 net

Well done to Mark Wotherspoon who won NTPs on both the 2nd and 9th holes onSaturday 13th February. Anthony McDonald also continued his good form winning A Grade with 42 points and also the NTP on the 7th hole.

Wednesday News

In a long overdue return to form Rod Cramp scooped the pool on 17th February winning A Grade with 43 points and the Paul Jones Big Money. Rod, along with playing partner John Wright, also won a bottle of Jack Daniels as part of the Gentleman Jack prize.

Great to see club stalwart Tony Madigan return to form with a vengeance with an outstanding 43 points in Wednesday 3rd February stableford event. Tony also won the Hillis Ford Monthly Mug. Unlucky runner-up on a countback was Charlie Baker.

Handicap Pennants Round 3

The team got off to another great start, winning the first 5 matches on course. Very nice to see new team member James Winnel get up 7/5. Our other wins were Phil Brennan 4/3, Stuart Wilkinson 5/3, George Mathis 5/4, Simon Longmore 1 up, and Henry Brind 2/1. Sympathies to Iain McLean who fought hard before going down on the 22nd. Our team sits in 2nd, 1 pt. behind Junee. Round 4 is at Narrandera against the home side. George
