The Wagga Wagga Country Club and its members recognise that the development of Junior Golf within the Club environment is vital to the ongoing success and viability of the Club.
The aims of the program are:
- To promote our Club and the sport of golf to juniors(both male and female).
- To provide access to Club facilities at an affordable cost to juniorswho wish to learn to play golf and to participate in Club activities.
- To provide tuition in the fundamental skills of golf. To provide instruction on golf etiquette and respect for the golf course.
- To explain in theoretical and practical terms, the rules of Golf and their effect.
- To provide a Structured Beginners Competition, specifically designed for juniors to improve and learn throughout the year.
- To facilitate access to coaching clinics, external golf competitions and promotions.
- To develop and prepare juniorsfor membership and full playing status in senior club competitions.
Juniors are encouraged to have fun and enjoy the sport, the beauty of our golf course and the friendships made with other junior golfers.

Outstanding results by WWCC Juniors at Jack Newton State Age Champs
The Jack Newton State Age Championships is the biggest event of the year for junior golfers. This year Joseph Bittar, Kurt Burns, Blake Jorgensen, Charlie Pilon and Christina Appleton- Seymour, all made the trip down to the south coast on July 14th to 18th. Over 300 juniors were in attendance and played on two golf course, Hill Top at Mollymook & Catalina Golf Club at Batemans Bay. Entry to this event is based on the juniors results from the past year and all our juniors did enough to gain entry.

These players have all benefitted from regular participation in the Hore & Davies Real Estate Junior Golf Program.
On August 16 th and 17th we are headed to Muswellbrook for the Jack Newton Muswellbrook Masters. We have a very talented young group of juniors at the moment, who all put in a huge amount of practice, and love the game.
